The Orleans Open Poker Tournament is now one day away from being history with the final table for the Championship event to be played today. The Orleans Open enjoyed a good turn out for the events and stands as another example of the popularity of the game. Shuffle Up and they will come. The next major poker tournament scheduled for Las Vegas is the Caesars Palace Classic on the docket for October 12-24.

Thursday's $540 event playing down to a final table
The 2007 Orleans Open Poker Tournament is scheduled to begin the final event, Championship No-Limit Hold'em Championship, at Noon on Sunday. Today's event, also scheduled for a Noon start time, is the $540 Buy-in Limit Hold'em Championship.
Sunday's No-Limit Hold'em Championship has a $1050 buy-in. Satellites for the Championship begin at 9:00 AM today and provide a bargain entry into Sunday's big event.

A 7:00 PM nightly a Second Chance No-Limit Hold'em event with a $120 buy-in and One $100 rebuy has proven to be quite popular with players. Registration for the Second Chance events open at 5:30 PM daily. The Orleans Open is the second oldest annual poker tournament in Las Vegas behind the 38 consecutive years of the WSOP. The lower buy-in events are a great place to gain experience in the fast paced tournament environment. Stop by the Orleans Resort in Las Vegas and check it out.
